At Face Clinic, we understand every treatment as part of a medical process. An integrated medical vision to create and coordinate Face Clinic
Face Clinic was founded on the medical and surgical background of Dr Francisco Riba García, with training that combines an understanding of the mouth, facial bone structure, soft tissues and facial aesthetics from a global perspective.
Dr Riba first trained in Stomatology through the MIR pathway and later in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, completing his residency at the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid. He has worked for years in hospital-based maxillofacial surgery, taking part in complex facial reconstruction, oncological surgery, soft-tissue management, bone surgery and long-duration procedures.
This surgical background is complemented by a Master’s degree in Trichology and Hair Surgery and a Master’s degree in Aesthetic Medicine. Today, his clinical activity is mainly focused on advanced implant dentistry, full-arch rehabilitations, zygomatic implants, facial plastic surgery and custom facial implants. The remaining areas of Face Clinic are delivered by specialists in each discipline, under shared medical coordination.

Dr Riba’s experience in hospital-based maxillofacial surgery has given him an in-depth understanding of facial surgery from the inside: bone reconstruction, soft-tissue management, complex surgical planning and the relationship between function, aesthetics and safety. This vision forms the foundation of the Face Clinic model.
Over time, Face Clinic has incorporated new medical and surgical areas to provide more complete care. Body surgery is integrated with specialist plastic surgeons; aesthetic medicine, hair medicine, dentistry, nutrition and other areas are delivered by professionals with expertise in each discipline. The distinguishing feature is that all these areas are coordinated under one shared medical criterion.
Training in Stomatology provides a direct understanding of oral health, dental function, rehabilitation and the relationship between the mouth, bone and face.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery enables work on the facial structure, jaws, mandible, chin, cheekbones and soft tissues.
Work in facial reconstruction, oncological surgery and highly complex procedures strengthens surgical vision and clinical judgement.
Training in aesthetic medicine and hair surgery helps integrate facial, hair and medical-aesthetic treatments with greater clinical coherence.

Each procedure is planned according to the medical assessment, the type of treatment, the anaesthesia required and the complexity of the case. For this reason, Face Clinic works with a flexible model combining clinic-based care, its own operating theatre and partner hospitals when the procedure requires it.
