Facial treatments · surgical · non-surgical · medical assessmentWHAT ARE FACIAL TREATMENTS?
Facial treatments include medical, aesthetic and surgical procedures designed to improve skin quality, soften certain signs of ageing, restore support or volume and correct changes in facial shape or structure when clinically appropriate.
There is no single treatment that suits every face. The right option depends on anatomy, age, tissue quality, facial expression, the degree of change being sought and, where relevant, functional factors that also need to be assessed.
WHEN TO CONSIDER A FACIAL TREATMENT
Many consultations do not begin with the name of a treatment, but with something that has changed: the eyes look more tired, facial definition has reduced, new lines have appeared or certain facial proportions feel out of balance. The starting point is to identify what is causing that change before deciding how to treat it.
Texture, expression lines, radiance and signs of skin ageing.
Cheeks, temples, chin and other areas where facial structure or volume has changed.
Facial laxity, a less defined jawline, a double chin or changes in the neck.
Nose, chin, jaw, ears or other structures that may affect overall facial balance.
WHAT DOES THE FACE CLINIC FACIAL UNIT INCLUDE?
Facial care may include aesthetic medicine, treatments focused on skin quality, facial plastic surgery and maxillofacial surgery when the concern involves bone structure, function or requires a specific surgical correction.
Depending on the diagnosis, the plan may be non-surgical, surgical or combined. The aim is not to use more techniques, but to select those with a genuine indication and sequence them appropriately.
Treatments for the eyes and eye area
The periocular area requires specific techniques, as small changes can have a significant effect on facial expression and eyelid function.

Non-surgical Non-surgical blepharoplasty · Tear trough filler · Periocular neuromodulators (crow's feet, glabellar lines) · Collagen biostimulators · Periocular exosomes
Eye treatments
Treatments for the brows
These treatments address aesthetic and functional changes in the brow area that can influence expression, symmetry and a tired appearance around the eyes.
Brow position & support
Surgical Brow lift · Endoscopic forehead lift · Surgical temporal lift · Structural brow implant / augmentation · Surgical correction of brow asymmetry
Non-surgical Brow neuromodulators · Structural hyaluronic acid treatment to the brow · Brow biostimulators · Brow skinboosters

Non-surgical Non-surgical rhinoplasty · Nasal neuromodulators (drooping nasal tip when smiling, bunny lines)

Changes may be congenital, related to trauma or associated with ageing. An accurate diagnosis helps determine the most appropriate technique.
Shape, position & earlobes
Surgical Otoplasty · Earlobe repair · Earlobe fat grafting
Non-surgical Earlobe filler with hyaluronic acid. In general, non-surgical options do not reliably correct the position of prominent ears; suitability should be assessed individually.

Non-surgical Non-surgical double-chin reduction · Belkyra for submental fat in selected cases · Neck tightening · Neuromodulators for platysmal bands · Fractional CO2 laser for the neck

HOW WE PLAN A FACIAL TREATMENT AT FACE CLINIC
Planning begins with an overall facial assessment. Before recommending a specific technique, we consider what has changed, which structures are involved, what outcome is realistic and how much intervention the case actually requires.
We review anatomy, skin, expression, proportions, medical history and the patient's goals.
We identify whether the main concern relates to skin, volume, muscle, soft tissue or facial structure.
We choose the least invasive option capable of addressing the concern appropriately, reserving surgery for cases where it is indicated.
We review progress and adjust the plan when treatment involves several stages or ongoing maintenance.
If you are unsure which treatment you need, you do not have to decide before booking. Tell us which area or change concerns you and our team will guide you towards the most appropriate specialist and assessment.
The indication, number of sessions where relevant and cost are determined individually after assessing your case.

Request an assessmentBENEFITS OF FACIAL TREATMENTS
Benefits depend on the indication and the type of treatment. The aim is to address what can genuinely be improved, from skin quality to loss of support, laxity or selected structural concerns, while preserving facial identity.
The technique and extent of treatment are adapted to anatomy, age, tissue quality and each patient's goals.
Planning aims to improve what matters without erasing individual features or making unnecessary changes to areas that do not need treatment.
Options range from medical aesthetic procedures to facial surgery when the degree of correction requires a surgical approach.
Selected treatments may improve hydration, texture, radiance, fine lines or signs of photoageing.
Where indicated, volume, definition or facial support may be restored using medical techniques or structural solutions.
When treatments are best combined, they can be sequenced in stages to avoid overtreatment and review progress before moving forward.
FACIAL TREATMENT SPECIALISTS
The facial unit brings together different specialists because not every concern is treated in the same way. Depending on the case, assessment may involve maxillofacial surgery, facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, skin treatments or laser treatment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT FACIAL TREATMENTS
We answer some of the questions patients commonly ask before having a facial treatment. The indication, treatment plan and cost are always determined individually after assessing each case.
What happens at the first facial treatment assessment?
The first consultation starts with your concerns and a facial examination. We assess the skin, soft tissues, volume, expression, proportions and, where relevant, bone structure or functional factors before recommending a specific technique.
How do I know which facial treatment I need?
You do not need to arrive having already chosen a treatment. The purpose of the assessment is to determine whether the main concern relates to skin, volume, muscle activity, laxity or facial structure, and then guide you towards the most appropriate option.
What types of facial treatments are available?
Options include non-surgical medical aesthetic treatments, procedures focused on skin quality and surgical treatments within plastic, oculoplastic or maxillofacial surgery. In selected cases, treatments may also be combined as part of a planned approach.
Is a non-surgical treatment better than surgery?
It depends on the concern and the degree of correction required. A non-surgical treatment may be sufficient for certain wrinkles, volume loss or skin-quality concerns, whereas advanced laxity or a structural issue may require surgery to achieve an appropriate correction.
Can several facial treatments be combined?
Yes. Combining techniques can be useful for some patients, but they do not necessarily need to be performed at the same time. The team may stage the plan and review progress before adding further procedures.
How long do the results last?
Duration depends on the technique, the area treated and the individual patient. Medical aesthetic treatments usually require maintenance, while surgical procedures generally provide longer-lasting changes, although natural ageing continues.
Which specialist will assess me?
That depends on the main concern. The facial unit includes specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery and other medical professionals working in aesthetic medicine, skin treatment and laser procedures.
How much do facial treatments cost?
There is no single price. As a general guide to the private market in Spain, neuromodulator treatments may start at around €300, hyaluronic acid treatments at around €250, some facial laser treatments at around €350 and facial surgery at around €4,500. These are indicative market figures, not fixed Face Clinic fees. The actual cost depends on the technique, treatment area, products used and the complexity of the case.
